Giorgia Pisciutti

I studied at the Art School of  Venice to continue his artistic training at the Academy of Fine Arts in  Urbino.  I had the privilege of studying in these two wonderful cities, surrounded by the beauty of Art and Nature.
I have been living in Milan since 2000 where I moved to work as a Visual Merchandiser between fashion and jewelery. I have worked with several companies and traveled from Europe to Kazakhstan.

The passion for metals and jewelry design led me to carry out courses in Milan and several workshops in Barcelona, visiting laboratories and schools to learn new techniques and meet international realities where  meet artists and goldsmiths from different cultures.

Some of these masters later became About's first teachers and collaborators.
I wanted to create a new place, where there was a dialogue between the Italian goldsmith tradition and other more applied contemporary techniques
  in other countries.

At About, among the different activities, I always teach and question my modalities. You never stop learning by teaching. I love to invent new didactics and teach with a maieutic method and renewed passion.

Teaching and sharing my knowledge with people is part of my attitude to reciprocity.

I carry out various activities related to the world of jewelry from jewelry design to their production. I offer the  my long experience of visual for setting up of alleries, showrooms, shops.

I believe in beauty, in nature, in art. Creating jewelry is an art.

I don't like the boundaries and definitions between the arts, I believe in the creative process and in the contamination between the arts.

The jewel is a sculpture, an architecture, a work of art with particular dimensions to face and on which to express oneself.

I create one-of-a-kind and custom-made pieces, I like to talk to customers to invent new 'tailor-made' jewels.

My first collection is the 'Atelier Talea' collection.
