OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE //

This course focuses on all those techniques that are often lacking in those who already perform 'goldsmithing' works and make accessories but have never approached casting, rolling, drawing, and all those basic techniques fundamental for the goldsmith work.

During the lessons you will be provided with a 'goldsmith's grammar' necessary to be able to learn the basics useful to carry out your own goldsmith projects independently.

'Learning is an experience' that allows students to develop, after the course, an autonomy in the study and implementation of personal projects with greater familiarity with the use and choice of materials and therefore a more accurate design according to aptitudes, individual goals and skills.​

The lessons are tailored to the needs of those who approach metalworking for the first time in goldsmiths, the following processes will be carried out:

• Precious and non precoius metal

• Demonstration: alloy and creation of 925 silver ingots by melting.

• Making of sheets and wires with laminator tools

• Making rings, perforating the metal, riveting

• How to forge, files, cutters and drills and other bench tools.

• Texture on silver, bronze, brass and copper

• How to connect metals with other materials without soldering

• Riveting and connections

• Metal polishing and cleaning with cleaner and tumblers.
